"Sure Does" Pendant

Have you ever heard this riddle?

Two penguins are paddling a canoe in a desert.  One penguin says "wheres your paddle", the other says "sure does".  Can you figure it out ? :)

Before I started making jewelry, I spent a some time in the outdoor education/ therapy world.  A lot of that time was spent hiking around the desert without cell phones or books to distract us... so riddles were always a big hit.  Someone once told me that cellphones are "wonder killers".  Every answer we have is at the touch of our fingertips.  Let this pendant be a little reminder to slow down, stop googling, and tell someone a good riddle.

I made this pendant with three layers of metal.  Two layers of brass soldered together and hand stamped words.  I soldered an additional sterling silver piece onto the back, with a hand stamped logo.

This piece will definitely be a conversation starter <3.
