Petrified wood with blue opal and native copper.  This special formation from earth is decomposed wood replaced by opaline silica over thousands of years.  The water in that silica was very rich in dissolved copper, iron, and manganese.  The mine has run dry of this blue opal, from the slopes of Mt. Tijikolak, making this stone a rare one.
